Cedar Waxwings

Philip took these pictures of a cedar waxwing on our crabapple tree. The cedar waxwings come once a year to our neighbourhood and only stay for about 20 minutes! They come in a large flock of more than a hundred and they land on the fir trees across the street. Then they come over in a big swoop and eat as much of the old apples as they can!!! Then they all fly off and we don't see them for another year!!!!
