To my long lost friend in LA......a correction

To my anonymous friend in LA,
I'm glad you stopped by to say,
That you're a friend indeed,
To whom I should heed,
So this tribute to you I pay!

Me, the boss, and the oldest son and wife!

Well, we have 7 mouths to feed here. Last night, the daughter-in-law made fresh plum cake from plums her ma and pa handpicked in B.C. a few weeks ago. It was real yummy and is half gone already! What a peach she is!

The Lord Keep Thee

How shall He keep thee?
In His own pavilion hiding:
In His precious love abiding,
Where no earthly care can reach thee,
Where the Lord Himself can teach thee,
Precious lessons yet unknown,
Taught thee by Himself alone.

With the all-covering shadow of His wings;

To the mother, whose whole being

So God speaks to every mother
At her helpless infant's birth:
"Take this child and nurse it for Me",
During all its life on earth.

"Take this child, to thee I trust it;
It from thee must learn the way,
Through the earthly darkness round it,
To the light of heavenly day.

"Take this child - and Mother, ponder!
Yonder heaven is pure and fair;
Wouldst thou be amidst its number
And thy little one not there?

Teach it Christ has power to heal.

Another wedding in the family....!

Here we all are, the C. side at P. and M.'s wedding. A few members of the
extended family are not there, but our little family is there, even our two
grandchildren!!!! It was a lovely day outside!

Ben and Lisa are married!

We had the priviledge of going to Ben and Lisa's wedding last Saturday! It was a very nice time for all of us! This is a picture of them on a chair/swing at the front while they listened to Tim speak. We had much fun this weekend!

A Trip to the Motherwell Homestead

We enjoyed a trip back in time to the Motherwell Homestead. A beautiful stone house very similar to the one our children's great grandmother lived in , back in the early 1900's. It was named the "Landmark Place" after the county the owners came from, back near Perth, Ontario.
